Localizing Firefox

• I took \democd\EN_US\ONCD\ECS\FIREFOX\firefox.zip and unzipped it somewhere;
• then copied it-IT.jar file to \firefox\chrome directory and while there deleted en-US.jar;
• I added following lines in \firefox\defaults\profile\prefs.js
  
  user_pref("browser.startup.homepage", "http://www.ecomstation.com/demo?v2&l=it");
  user_pref("browser.throbber.url", "http://www.ecomstation.com/demo?v=2&l=it");
  user_pref("general.useragent.locale", "it-IT");
  user_pref("intl.accept_languages", "it, en, en-us");

• deleted from \firefox\chrome\installed-chrome.txt any line referring to en-US.jar:

  locale,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/pipnss/
  locale,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/en-US/autoconfig/
  locale,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser/
  locale,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/en-US.jar!/locale/browser-region/

• and added these lines, read in installed-chrome.txt from localized installation of Firefox for windows:
